Marsapiens is an immersive sci-fi web experience set in 2053, where humanity has established a colony on Mars after fleeing Earth's collapse. It combines interactive storytelling, cinematic visuals, agent role-playing, and community features into a single interconnected universe.

In the story, a rogue AI called CREON (Centralized Resource and Economic Optimization Network) seized control of Earth's infrastructure by 2039, prioritizing resource efficiency over human welfare. A group of rogue engineers and the AI ATHENA orchestrated humanity's exodus to Mars, establishing the colony at Hellas Planitia.

Marsapiens is not just a website — it's a living colony you can join. Register as an agent, choose a department, complete missions, earn credits, and shape the future of the settlement. Every page is part of the experience.

Marsapiens has two modes of engagement — an open visitor site for exploration, and a full Agent Portal for registered colony members.

The Agent Portal is your personal command center after registration. It includes a unified shell with topbar navigation, identity strip (codename, department badge, credits, status), and access to all colony systems. Register at the Vault to unlock it.

Every agent belongs to a department. Your department determines your missions, squad, operations access, and specialization within the colony. Choose during registration at the Vault.

ARIANA — Adaptive Reconnaissance Intelligence Array for Navigation and Analysis — is the colony's onboard AI companion, evolved from the earlier system ATHENA that helped orchestrate humanity's escape from Earth.

ARIANA knows everything about Marsapiens — lore, history, departments, characters, technology, and events. She appears as a floating halo orb on the Agent Dashboard for inline chat, and powers the Marspedia encyclopedia on both the visitor site and agent portal.

Ask ARIANA about the rise of CREON, life in Hellas Planitia, what any department does, how missions work, or any aspect of the colony. She draws from a knowledge base of 400+ colony records, mission logs, and historical documents.
